Roast is the kind of card game that lures people in with cute marshmallows and then politely tosses them into cozy, crackling betrayal. It’s got that lovely campfire look, but under the hood it’s serving up clever hand management, sneaky action cards, and just enough chaos to keep everyone suspicious of the nicest person at the table. Roast mallows, build s’mores, feed the bears, and try not to get too attached to your plans. It plays in about 20 minutes, supports 2–8 players, and lands in that sweet spot where families, casual groups, and mildly competitive goblins can all have a great time. Basically: very adorable, a little devious, and dangerously easy to get back to the table.
