Fliptown is one of those games that sneaks up on you. You're flipping three cards from a standard poker deck, assigning them to activate regions on your dry-erase player board — the Trail, the Badlands, the Mine, the Town — each one its own little puzzle to crack. Your poker hand scores big at the end of each round, which means every flip has you weighing short-term gains against long-term setups.

There are 14 wild west characters to choose from, each with their own starting resources and tricks, so no two games feel the same. It plays solo up to four people, runs about 30–45 minutes, and practically teaches itself. All you need is this box and a standard deck of cards. One of the best indie flip-and-write games out there, and we're glad it found a home on our shelves.
