Magic Academy is back to usher in a whole new batch of spell-slingers! On Tuesday, Jan 6, we’ll start with a short how-to-play video, then everyone picks one of the two decks from the Magic Arena 2021 starter kit and hops straight into games. We’ll be around the tables helping folks learn the basics, answer rules questions, and cheer when someone casts their very first giant creature.

You’ll take home your deck plus a code that unlocks both starter decks on MTG Arena, so you can keep practicing before Lorwyn prerelease hits the following week. And if you want to sharpen your skills even more, we’ve got another deck-building class on Jan 13. January’s shaping up to be a fun one—might as well start it with some Magic.
