In Tokyo Washi Game: Cats, you’re not a hero, a general, or a wizard. You’re a cat. And there’s a fish across town with your name on it.

This clever modular game uses a roll of beautifully printed Japanese washi tape as the board. Players build the city map together using the tape and a simple writing tool, turning any table into a tiny slice of Tokyo ready for feline adventures.

Each player controls one or more cats trying to sneak across the city, grab a fish, and make it back home before anyone else does. On your turn, you’ll move your cats strategically across the growing map while avoiding rivals who are after the same tasty prize.

Of course, cats have a few tricks. You might pull off a Super Amazing Jump to reach the perfect spot or disappear into a sewer and pop up somewhere entirely unexpected. Timing those moves just right can mean the difference between dinner and disappointment.

Designed as the first entry in the Tokyo Washi Game series, Cats is flexible enough for 2–6 players and endlessly replayable thanks to the modular map you create each game.
