A Place for All My Books is a quiet, thinky little puzzle of a game from Smirk & Dagger — you're collecting books, sorting them into stacks, and arranging them across the rooms of your apartment as personal projects. Finish a project and you earn social battery, which you'll spend to brave the village and pick up (you guessed it) more books.

The 130 wood book tiles are the showpiece here — full-color covers and actual engraved spines that look like a tiny library sitting on your table. The solo mode is a real one too, where you go head-to-head with Penelope Eveready, an untiring extrovert who keeps swiping the books you had your eye on. Possibly the most relatable villain in any board game we've stocked.
