We’re kicking off the Avatar: The Last Airbender Commander Party with a free community event full of bending, battles, and big story moments. This is a casual, all-levels Commander night where you’ll play using special rules straight from the Four Nations themselves.

Everyone who signs up gets a promo card (while supplies last), so grab your seat early — and make sure your deck is proxy-free, since the Avatar spirits apparently check lists now.

Commander Party events are all about storytelling, table camaraderie, and wild swings. You’ll use special play aids and Party Cards provided by Wizards of the Coast to “bend” your way through the game. Expect moments like:

• Airbending permanents into exile so you can cast them later

• Waterbending with the help of your creatures

• Earthbending lands into hasty elementals

• Firebending mana bursts during combat

• And yes… entering the Avatar State, which lets you gain life, draw four cards, add WUBRG, and unleash a boosted creature at the table (as shown on the play aid on page 1 of your Commander Party materials).

Pods will be 3–4 players, and we’ll use a player-list (no pairings) so everyone gets right into the action.
