Meet the Genya no Yokai—giant, raging nightmares who skipped “polite society” in favor of raw power and bottomless hunger. Unlike their refined Ayakashi cousins, these feral behemoths twist enlightenment itself into fuel for their fury, devouring energy in every form until their enemies are left drained and broken. Among them, the Yoroni dare to follow in the footsteps of Shuten-dōji, the legendary figure who once walked both paths of enlightenment: as a noble Bushi and as a selfish Ayakashi. None have matched his impossible feat (yet), but the attempt transforms these warriors into towering colossi, their corrupted bodies perfected by sheer force of will. Mercy? Weakness? Not in their vocabulary.
