Our January Deck Building class lands on Tue, Jan 13 at 6 pm—perfect timing since Lorwyn prerelease kicks off that Friday! We’ll start with a short instructional video, then everyone cracks open 6 Magic: The Gathering – Avatar: the Last Airbender booster packs and starts brewing.

You’ll have about 40 minutes to build your deck, and we’ll be on hand with tips, suggestions, and gentle reminders that yes, you can cut that seventh 5-drop. After building, you’ll play with your new deck until we close at 8 pm.

You’ll keep every card you open, plus a bonus promo card to take home. With only 8 seats available, this one stays cozy and focused—an ideal warm-up before the big prerelease weekend.

What do I need to bring?
It depends on the event format. Sealed events provide everything you need. Constructed events require your own deck. Check the event description for specific requirements.
Do I need to be experienced to attend?
Not at all! Many of our events are beginner-friendly. Prereleases, learn-to-play sessions, and casual nights are great for newcomers.
How do I register?
Add the event to your cart and check out to reserve your spot. Space is limited so register early. Walk-ins may be available but aren't guaranteed.
