Standard Showdown is back for its weekly run at the shop. Bring your best 60-card Standard brew (and a 15-card sideboard — we're playing Best-of-Three), sling spells for three rounds of Swiss, and try to walk out with packs and a fresh promo card.

Here's the rundown: $10 entry, 8-player cap, pack-per-match-win prizing, and the tournament winner takes home a guaranteed Into the Flood Maw promo from the Secrets of Strixhaven Standard Showdown series. Four other random players in the event get one too — yes, that means the winner can potentially walk out with two.

Standard Showdown hits the sweet spot we love about weekly Magic: competitive enough to keep things spicy, but welcoming enough that you can bring the half-built jank brew you've been tinkering with on MTG Arena.
