Unleash alien horror in the underhive with this multipart plastic kit that builds a complete Malstrain or Malstrain Corrupted gang. The set features six terrifying Malstrain Genestealers and four floating Malstrain Tyramites to form the core of your xenos threat.

Each Malstrain Genestealer comes equipped with razor-sharp claws and multiple head options including drooling tongues, barbed ovipositors, and writhing tentacles. Create varied, skulking poses with three different body designs and four chitinous arms per model. The Malstrain Tyramites float menacingly alongside their larger kin, with two body types and interchangeable tentacles for customization.

The kit also includes 10 mutated Brood Scum heads in five different designs, perfect for converting Hive Scum models (sold separately) into gene-corrupted cultists. With 90 plastic components and all required bases, this set gives you everything needed to build a truly nightmarish force. Rules for using these abominations can be found in Necromunda: Book of Desolation, sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to assemble and paint this?
Yes — most miniature kits come unassembled and unpainted on plastic sprues. You'll need plastic glue, clippers, and paints. We carry everything you need to get started.
What paints and tools do I need?
At minimum: plastic glue, sprue cutters, a primer spray, and a few base paints. We recommend a starter paint set like the Citadel Battle Ready Paint Set for beginners.
Is this a good starting point for the hobby?
Combat Patrol and Starter Sets are designed for new players. They include enough models for a small game and are a great introduction to building and painting.
Do you have a community for this game?
Yes! We host Warhammer game nights at our Downtown San Diego shop. All skill levels welcome — come play, learn, and meet fellow hobbyists.
