Before it was shattered, the Nightbringer was death. Now? It’s death with a grudge. A C’tan Shard of the Nightbringer is still more than capable of reaping entire armies, drifting across the battlefield like an executioner pulled straight from a galactic nightmare. Its necrodermis forms vast scythe-blades that erase enemies in sweeping arcs, while its baleful gaze drains the very animus from anything unlucky enough to meet it. Subtlety is not on the menu.

This kit builds the most fearsome of the C’tan shards for your Necrons army, rewarding an aggressive, in-your-face playstyle where the fighting is thickest. On the hobby side, it’s an absolute showstopper—flowing, digitally fragmented robes, a swarm of scarabs, and a living metal body that begs for dramatic paint effects. Whether you’re looking to terrify opponents or add a jaw-dropping centerpiece to your collection, the Nightbringer delivers in spades.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to assemble and paint this?
Yes — most miniature kits come unassembled and unpainted on plastic sprues. You'll need plastic glue, clippers, and paints. We carry everything you need to get started.
What paints and tools do I need?
At minimum: plastic glue, sprue cutters, a primer spray, and a few base paints. We recommend a starter paint set like the Citadel Battle Ready Paint Set for beginners.
Is this a good starting point for the hobby?
Combat Patrol and Starter Sets are designed for new players. They include enough models for a small game and are a great introduction to building and painting.
Do you have a community for this game?
Yes! We host Warhammer game nights at our Downtown San Diego shop. All skill levels welcome — come play, learn, and meet fellow hobbyists.
