RISK G.I. Joe: Special Missions takes the classic world-spanning strategy of RISK and gives it a tactical, mission-driven makeover. Instead of just painting the map your color, you’ll be chasing objectives, foiling enemy plots, and completing covert operations across global hotspots.

Two to four players pick a side — the heroic G.I. Joe team or the always-up-to-something Cobra — and command leaders with unique abilities while deploying a seriously impressive lineup of miniatures. Skystrikers roar overhead, H.I.S.S. tanks roll in, and Cobra Troopers inevitably cause trouble somewhere you weren’t expecting.

Each game is guided by one of five scenarios, meaning the battlefield shifts every time you play. Objectives, action cards, and rotating units keep things moving fast, and even defeated units can cycle back into the fight. So yes, that Cobra plan you just stopped may come back with reinforcements.

With 252 miniatures and a big helping of Saturday-morning-cartoon energy, this is RISK for players who like their strategy with a side of missions, mayhem, and a little dramatic flair.
